March 13th, 14th & 15th

The 14th annual festival will commence with the opening of the art exhibition on Friday, March 13 which continues throughout the weekend.

The big day for entertainment is Sunday, March 15, with market stalls, workshops, plenty of activities for the kids, a dog show and free live music from 10am.

The Bundeena-Maianbar Art of Living Festival highlights the cultural diversity of the local community and the wider Sutherland Shire - all in a village atmosphere. What's more, you can listen to the free live music, enjoy a picnic under the trees, then take a 5 minute walk and swim in the sparkling waters off Horderns Beach. This year The Art of Living Festival, with support from Festivals Australia, will use music and art not only as a way to celebrate local cultural and social diversity but also as a way of 'Bridging the Gap'. Bridging the gap that exists between Bundeena and the rest of Sydney and more importantly the gaps that exist between cultures, ages and ways of life in Bundeena, the Sutherland Shire and beyond. Free Workshops on Saturday 14th March in singing and sculpture will be one of the mechanisms used to 'bridge the gap' at this years festival.
