Artists from many diverse backgrounds have made their homes in Bundeena-Maianbar. All have been influenced by unique environment of the villages and the surrounding Royal National Park. Visitors to the increasingly popular Bundeena-Maianbar Art Trail will be well aware of the high quality of the work on display. Those who have yet to "do the trail" can sample the locals' work by visiting the Art of Living Festival Art Exhibition.
In 2007 the exhibition celebrates its 12th year, and again over 100 local artists have been invited to participate.
Artists frequently on show include Garry Shead (Archibald Prize and Dobell Drawing Prize Winner), Bob Marchant (two-time Sulman Prize Winner) and Jiawei Shen (Sulman Prize Winner, Mary McKillop Prizewinner).
